John and the Father-Son story

The Gospel of John and Sonship Session 8

John 1:6 There was a man sent from God, whose name was John. 7 The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe. 8 He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light. 9 That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world.

Here is another man breaking into the scene and his name is John. We have already picked up The Sun in the Solar System and likened it to The Son in the Sonship System.

There has to be another celestial body in the space that we can pick up to prophetically explain the position of John to the world.

The emphasis was that he was NOT THAT LIGHT. Which means that he was a certain light as well but not THAT LIGHT.

He was here to witness of THAT LIGHT. When we look at The Moon we find amazing similarities that the Moon carries which John performed to this earth and this world.

Let me begin by saying if there was no Sun we would not see the Moon even if the Moon was there. We see the Moon because it reflects the Light of the Sun.

This means the Moon is witnessing about THAT Light. Though the Moon is a certain light to this Earth by night but it is NOT THAT LIGHT.

John became the fore runner of an Evangelistic Prophetic Mandate that was to continue in the World even long after he was gone.

We shall soon explain some of his very important sayings which we need to learn from them.

We will also look at the prophecies concerning the coming of John and see the relevance of his duties concerning THAT Light. We will also fully understand why was he the most fitting candidate to show up as a forerunner of Jesus Christ.

We will also give ourselves the time to examine his birth and see how it speaks to the coming of Jesus Christ.

Malachi 4:5 Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord: 6 And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse.

Before we explain these two verses let’s hear what Jesus says concerning them:

Well this is the angel here speaking of John and we will hear later what Jesus says of him:

Luke 1: 13 But the angel said unto him, Fear not, Zacharias: for thy prayer is heard; and thy wife Elisabeth shall bear thee a son, and thou shalt call his name John. 14 And thou shalt have joy and gladness; and many shall rejoice at his birth. 15 For he shall be great in the sight of the Lord, and shall drink neither wine nor strong drink; and he shall be filled with the Holy Ghost, even from his mother’s womb. 16 And many of the children of Israel shall he turn to the Lord their God. 17 And he shall go before him in the spirit and power of Elias, to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the disobedient to the wisdom of the just; to make ready a people prepared for the Lord.

Verse 17 reveals that this is that Prophet who was spoken of by Malachi.

Matthew 11:10 For this is he, of whom it is written, Behold, I send my messenger before thy face, which shall prepare thy way before thee. 11 Verily I say unto you, Among them that are born of women there hath not risen a greater than John the Baptist: notwithstanding he that is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he. 12 And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force. 13 For all the prophets and the law prophesied until John. 14 And if ye will receive it, this is Elias, which was for to come.

The last verse is that which I desire that you come and hear as Jesus reveals it which is in verse 14.

There are many people who taught about John as an Evangelist and some taught about him as Prophet.

All these portrayed him as doing the work of an evangelist but they shunned away from how Malachi presented John in the last two verses of the Old Testament.

After so much had been written in the Old Testament we had to have the Words of Hope that will create a bridge to the New Testament.

The space that Malachi says we need to watch as the New Testament books open up is The Father Son space.

The Bible in the Old Testament brings man into the scene by introducing him as Son as explained further in Luke 3:38.

Which was the son of Enos, which was the son of Seth, which was the son of Adam, which was the son of God.  Luke3.38 KJV

Old Testament opens its story about Adam who is Son of God.

The same closes by promising us that Sons will return to Fathers and John will facilitate this very big event.

The book of John opens by describing us as sons who accept Jesus as Son and given the power to become sons.

John 1: But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name.  John1.12.KJV

What do you think would have made us to remove this John from the main Father and Son story and rewarded him with all the peripherals of this great story?

Let us go together to the ninth session and hear more.

This was the eight session of the Gospel from John and Sonship.
