ISA9.6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
Jesus as a child was born in Bethelehem and He as a Son was given.
When there is the Giver there needs to be a receiver.
We received Him as Son. He knew His primary identity as Son.
He did not want to be introduced as Prophet. He always left every audience with only one impression of His identity, that of a Son.
Though He always introduced Himself as Son, in His lips it was always a message of the Father.
Now the starting point of His ministry and assignment was FATHER.

He began his teaching about the FATHER and ended them with the same.
So much He did this to a point that everytime He was going to open His mouth the disciples already knew that He will tell them about the Father.
He has without doubt taken the Word Father and Son and put them at the centre of His ministry.
If He was to be given an opportunity to announce or put a Bill Board for His ministry, He was going to say : COME AND SEE THE FATHER!
If He was given an opportunity to have a slogan under the logo of His ministry, He would right, COME AND SEE THE FATHER!
Now not only did He play the role of the Son when it comes to being SENT ONE but He also played the role of Everlasting Father when it came to establish the Holy Nation.

This means He had to reveal what shadow was Israel resembling.
Let us pause here and return to a very important revelation from Paul concerning Israel and the Law:
COL2.16 Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of a feast day or a new moon or a sabbath day: which are a shadow of the things to come; but the body is Christ’s.
HEB10.1 For the law having a shadow of the good things to come, not the very image of the things, can never with the same sacrifices year by year, which they offer continually, make perfect them that draw nigh.
How can a shadow tell of something to come?
Is a shadow not supposed to reveal something which was there already.
What comes first, a Shadow or a Substance?
I want to quote from Dad’s letter which he wrote to me yesterday:

Dear Son
As promised here is the message I began on Sunday and as I often state, the entire Kingdom of God is in a mirror image that is totally in the reverse.  When you look at an ‘image’ in a mirror, that image is looking at you the totally opposite of how you are looking at it.  The entire Kingdom is full of these opposites and if you approach the kingdom without the aid of this mirror approach, the concepts will feel backwards.

We know that we need to have first The Body then the shadow, but Paul being a good student knows that it is the Shadow first then the Body later.
We need to have the Begining then the End but God will being with the End and end with the Begining
This means that : (JHN8.58 Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you,) Before Abraham was born, I am.
Therefore Abraham is a Shadow of Father God while Isaac is a shadow of Jesus.
I want us to look at a very important shadow now:
EXO19.6 and ye shall be unto me a kingdom of priests, and a holy nation. These are the words which thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel.
Now the main shadow I want to talk about is the Holy Nation.
1PE2.9 But ye are a elect race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God’s own possession, that ye may show forth the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:
Now Peter says we are the Body called Holy Nation of the Shadow Nation of Israel.
This means that we as the Body called Holy Nation we existed before the Shadow Body called Israel.
EPH1.4 even as he chose us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blemish before him in love:
Now the Body called me and you was chosen before Israel was chosen.
The Body of Christ existed before the Body of Israel.
Now Jesus knew these things before He began his ministry.  When He began he chose 12 disciples who were to be made in His likeness as Apostles.
This shadow is the shadow of Israel and his twelve sons.
This puts Jesus in the position of Israel who was called Jacob with his twelve sons.
Why would Jesus be the Body of the Shadow called Israel?
EXO4.22 And thou shalt say unto Pharaoh, Thus saith Jehovah, Israel is my son, my first-born:

Jesus knew that If He has to begin the Holy Nation he must begin where Jacob began with twelve sons as the True Son while Israel is the Shadow son.
This means He began His ministry in the pattern of Israel as a father to his twelve sons.
